7 Tutorials that helped me learn Blender
I just wanted to let you know, guys, that I learned how to use Blender pretty quickly.
In fact, in just a couple months, I was able to create pretty decent looking stuff.
However, I would’ve never done that if it weren’t for great tutorials to learn from. I just thought I’d share those tutorials I helped me enormously in learning Blender quickly. Check them out!
The Secret to Creating Realistic Grass
This was the first Blender tutorial I ever watched, and to be sure, I didn’t know what I was doing at the time. Watching this tutorial helped me immensely when it came to using Blender’s interface.
If it wasn’t for this Blender Guru tutorial, I might never have known how to model. This totally started my modeling part of Blender.
In this Blender Cookie tutorial I first learned how to texture. In fact, this is where I learned to be very scared of UV Unwrapping. (Of course that fear went away gradually, but it still made no sense when I first watch UV Unwrapping here.)
Modeling a Porsche 911 GT3 RS — Part 1
For sure, this was a courageous tutorial for me to watch and attempt to do when I watched this. But this tutorial totally started my “advanced” modeling stuff.
How to Create Lightning in Blender
When it comes to compositing, this is where I started. Compositing seemed quite confusing — in fact it seemed like C++ programming, until I watched this. Then it all began to make sense.
Lighting tips from the Masters
Where did I learn to light my scenes? Right here.
You may have learned how to use Blender differently, but I thought I’d just share the main tutorials that taught me how to use Blender — and quickly.
Agreed. I learned with the same tutorials. I still have a lot to learn, but those help me get to the point where I was proud of my work.
